Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5–8 years of construction site safety experience.
• NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH or equivalent certifications mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international safety standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare and review RAMS and safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project safety requirements.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for workers and staff.
• Monitor PPE use and ensure proper safety practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and preventive measures.
• Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on construction sites, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and project safety standards. The Safety Officer will promote a strong safety culture, prevent accidents, and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction site safety.
