Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure a safe workplace. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, leading safety training, and coordinating with authorities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related fields, along with 5–10 years of HSE management experience. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or OSHA are preferred, and knowledge of local safety regulations is essential.

Job Summary:

One of our Clients are looking for Safety Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. The role ensures adherence to local laws, industry standards, and company safety objectives while promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
  • Lead safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor safety performance.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and clients on safety matters.
  • Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and track safety KPIs and monthly/annual HSE reports.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and enforcement of safety rules.
  • Develop emergency response plans and oversee drills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred (NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA).
  • 5–10 years of experience in HSE management (construction, industrial, Precast, or facilities preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of local Saudi safety regulations and international HSE standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
