Job Title: RTFI Technician (Radiographic Testing Film Interpreter) – ARAMCO Project

Location: Saudi Arabia

Industry: Oil & Gas / Industrial / ARAMCO Projects

Employment Type: Full-Time

Employer: Reputed Inspection / Contracting Company

Responsibilities
  • Interpret radiographic films for weld quality, defects, and corrosion indications.
  • Identify and evaluate welding defects such as porosity, cracks, slag inclusions, lack of fusion, and corrosion.
  • Ensure film interpretation complies with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and applicable codes (ASME, ASTM, API).
  • Prepare and maintain RTFI reports, logs, and inspection documentation.
  • Coordinate with NDT, QA/QC, and construction teams for inspection activities.
  • Review radiographic images for acceptance or rejection criteria.
  • Maintain inspection records for client and ARAMCO review.
  • Follow safety procedures and quality requirements during inspection activities.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, NDT, or related technical field.
  • RTFI / NDT certification is an advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an RTFI Technician.
  • Experience in oil & gas or ARAMCO projects is preferred.
  • ARAMCO project approval / experience – Mandatory.
Technical & Other Skills
  • Strong ability to interpret radiographic films for weld and corrosion defects.
  • Knowledge of welding inspection standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Good computer skills (reporting, documentation, MS Office).
  • Good command of English (reading, writing, and communication).
  • Familiarity with ARAMCO documentation and reporting formats.
