Job summary

Baker Hughes in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Shop/Service Operator-Intermediate to join the IET team. You will operate mechanical equipment, perform inspections and repairs on rotors, pumps and gears, and uphold quality per specifications.

The role supports lean manufacturing and requires 2–3 shift flexibility, with a focus on safety and teamwork. The position emphasizes hands-on machining, balancing, and routine maintenance, contributing to reliable service and efficient production in a modern

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience operating mechanical machines.
Experience with inspections, repairs, balancing and testing of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

Inspecting and repairing activities for rotors, gears and shafts.
Performing visual, geometrical inspections and non-destructive testing per data sheets.
Maintaining in-process quality control and recording results.
Conducting machine tool preventive maintenance and daily checks.
Raising HSE concerns and supporting lean Manufacturing improvements.
Operating a LATHE (Manual/CNC) and balancing machines; performing balancing checks.
Working in 2–3 shift patterns and overtime as needed.
