Job summary

Hziegler is seeking a qualified female RN for a 5-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The SICU provides 24-hour nursing care for post-operative and critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and short-term ventilatory support.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and at least two years of current SICU experience in a tertiary-care hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current nursing (RN) license is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in Surgical ICU in a tertiary-care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour nursing care in a 5-bed SICU.

Job description

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), a 5-bed unit, provides 24-hour intensive nursing care for patients requiring intensive care, short-term ventilatory management and observation who had major surgery.

Some of the surgeries include craniotomy, major abdominal surgery, aorto-femoral bypass, thoracic, renal, lung transplant, and any patient post-operatively that has an underlying medical condition that requires "close monitoring" except post cardiac-surgical patients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
  
• Current nursing (RN) license
  
• Must have at least two years of current experience in on a Surgical ICU in a tertiary-care hospital
