Qualifications

• Valid trailer driver license with at least two years of experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate light, medium, or heavy-duty trucks with trailers attached.
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules, regulations, laws, etc.
• Ability to follow directions precisely while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude for problem solving when it comes to vehicle maintenance or delivery issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive trailers to transport goods to its destination in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure that all cargo is properly secured on the trailer before departure
• Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are in proper working order
• Follow all rules of the road and traffic regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of trips taken and cargo delivered
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Report any faulty equipment or mechanical issues to supervisors
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Monitor road conditions and adjust driving accordingly
