Job summary

Woopel in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, control systems and equipment in compliance with safety regulations and codes. A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred, with strong troubleshooting, communication and attention to detail.

The role requires reading blueprints/diagrams and using basic hand tools. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification is required along with 1 year of experience working as an electrician in a professional setting is preferred but not required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no infractions during the past three years
• Must be proficient in the use of basic hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers and wire cutters
• Must have strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to read blueprints/diagrams accurately

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes.
• Ensure that all wiring complies with applicable laws and regulations related to electricity safety.
• Identify electrical issues by using specialized testing methods such as infrared imaging systems.
• Repair or replace faulty parts such as circuit breakers, fuses and other components as needed.
• Install energy saving devices in order to reduce energy consumption.
• Test continuity of circuits using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or ammeters.
• Troubleshoot issues related to lighting fixtures, power outlets or other components of the electrical system.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each job site.
