Job summary

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Test Engineer to own production testing for servers. You will set up and maintain test stations, deploy test software, analyze failures, and ensure data flows to MES for traceability.

Role involves collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality and global teams, and hands-on production floor support during ramp-up. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years in server or electronics manufacturing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
2+ years in server, PC or electronics manufacturing, test engineering or system validation.
Understanding of production test processes, station setup, test equipment, logs and failure analysis.
Familiarity with server hardware, BIOS/BMC/firmware, Windows Server and Linux, RAID and network troubleshooting.
Good written and spoken English.
Willingness to give hands-on support on the production floor during ramp-up.

Responsibilities

Set up, validate and maintain production test stations, test environments and equipment.
Deploy test software and manage test code and configurations, including BIOS, BMC and firmware versions.
Analyze test failures using test data, logs and on-site observation, and resolve issues through to closure.
Support server configuration testing, including OS, RAID and network setup.
Make sure test data uploads correctly to the MES for full traceability.
Drive improvements in test stability, yield and efficiency.
Work with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, suppliers and global Lenovo teams, and give hands-on support when urgent issues come up.
