Job summary

A global engineering and consulting firm in the Riyadh Region is seeking a professional to manage project control and reporting for large-scale civils projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction or Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in project controls. Duties include preparing reports, analyzing schedules, and coordinating with various teams to ensure project success. Strong skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office are required, alongside excellent communication capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in project controls on large scale heavy civils projects.
  • Prior success in data collection, reporting and analysis.
  • Demonstrably able to solve problems using analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead reporting for the project alongside the Reports Assistants.
  • Establish methods for collecting information from construction staff.
  • Prepare construction progress reports using dashboards.
  • Ensure uniform reporting between clients, contractors, and project teams.
  • Review the contractor’s schedules and analyze data using Primavera.
  • Identify and analyze project key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and document controls teams.
  • Organize documents and reports through Electronic Data Management Systems.
  • Maintain progress verification records for interim payment certificates.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Working alongside the Reports Assistants to manage and lead reporting for the project.
  • Establishing and implementing methods for collecting information from the construction staff at different locations.
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly construction progress reports using dashboards.
  • Ensuring uniform and consistent reporting on the project between the client, contractor and project teams.
  • Reviewing the contractor’s look-ahead schedules and comparing them with the approved baseline schedules. Using Primavera to analyze and represent the statistical data in easily comprehensible tables, charts and curves.
  • Identifying and analyzing various project key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Coordinating with the engineering, construction and document controls teams to manage the flow of inspection requests, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and correspondence.
  • Following up with the construction supervision staff to close pending submittals and organizing all documents, correspondences, reports through Electronic Data Management Systems such as Primavera Contracts Manager or ACONEX.
  • Coordinating with the contracts department by maintaining the progress verification record forms on site for the interim payment certificates.

  • Proficient skills in Digital Dashboards such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
