Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Applied Geology, or related Earth Science.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in mineral exploration.
• Proven expertise in core logging for base metal exploration, with significant gold exploration.
• Strong understanding of structural geology, alteration mineralogy, and ore deposit geology.
• Experience with geological logging software and database management systems.
• Knowledge of QA/QC protocols for drilling and sampling.
• Ability to work independently in remote field locations under challenging conditions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological data management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed geological logging of diamond drill core.
• Identify lithological units, mineral assemblages, alteration styles, and structural features.
• Support exploration targeting through geological interpretation.
• Ensure accurate sample selection and QA/QC per procedures.
• Maintain high-quality geological databases and data integrity.
• Coordinate drilling activities and core handling with contractors.
