Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI Research Engineer (Agentic Reinforcement Learning) based in Saudi Arabia. You will drive research and innovation in next-generation intelligent systems, handling multimodal data (text, images, audio) and building scalable training infrastructures.

You will publish at top conferences and contribute to cutting-edge diffusion-based and autoregressive approaches, pushing the boundaries of model performance and generalization in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• PhD in ML/NLP/CV preferred.
• Strong research track record with publications in leading conferences.
• Experience running large-scale RL experiments in multimodal systems.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and modern DL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop RL algorithms for multimodal models, including diffusion-based approaches for image generation, autoregressive models for multimodal understanding, and unified architectures integrating multiple modalities.
• Design and implement scalable RL infrastructure supporting distributed training across complex multimodal systems.
• Develop and optimize reward modeling strategies to improve training stability and align model behavior with desired outcomes.
• Create, curate, and maintain multimodal simulation environments and training datasets for robust development and benchmarking.
• Design and implement rigorous evaluation protocols to measure model performance and validate improvements.
• Analyze and optimize policy performance across modalities by identifying bottlenecks in training and cross-modal alignment.
• Investigate emerging RL paradigms enabling agents to learn more effectively from feedback.
• Improve model exploration, decision-making, and adaptive behavior for state-of-the-art performance.
• Conduct large-scale experiments and translate findings into algorithmic improvements.
• Publish and present findings at ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV.
