Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks a Metering Engineer to join the Global Manufacturing Organization within the Technical Support team. The role covers operation, design, and project development for metering systems across facilities, with emphasis on high-priority issues.

Requires a Bachelor's in Chemical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering and 12+ years in refinery/oil-gas. Knowledge of industry standards and field instruments is essential. This on-site position offers challenging, world-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of experience in refining/oil & gas plants/petrochemical industries.
Proficiency in oil & gas industry codes and standards (API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in metering systems.
Familiarity with field instrument types and applications.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance, support, training, and expertise to the facility metering team.
Monitor metering system performance.
Assess metering performance and recommend improvements for system optimization.
Develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for metering systems.
Establish and implement auditing guidelines and perform metering systems audits.
Lead development of new strategies and validate productivity improvements.
Ensure manufacturing knowledge is captured in the knowledge repository and drive continuous improvement.
Act as a subject matter expert in metering systems and contribute to troubleshooting activities.
Provide awareness sessions and lead technical exchanges and conferences.
Maintain metering system knowledge repository.
