Job summary

Accor in Al Khobar is seeking a Recreation Attendant to deliver warm, locally-inspired service to guests using our wellness facilities. You will engage with guests, assist with poolside needs and ensure a high standard of cleanliness and ambiance.

The role requires hospitality dedication in a luxury environment, with opportunities to grow across Accor’s brands while maintaining a polished appearance and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests’ needs, including issuing towels and chaise lounge covers.
• Assist in chaise lounge set-up and cabana set-up.
• Pick up and remove used towels and debris from pool deck areas.
• Provide warm, personal service in a luxury, upscale environment.
• Maintain knowledge of wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services.
• Upsell wellness and recreation offers to maximize revenue.
• Perform opening/closing side duties and set the pool according to standards.
• Be familiar with hotel fire and life safety procedures.

Job Description

As a Recreation Attendant you are responsible to provide warm, engaging and authentically local personalized service to all guests who utilize the facilities.

What you will be doing:

• Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests’ needs, which may include, but are not limited to: issuing towels, issuing chaise lounge covers, assist in chaise lounge set-up, and cabana set-up.
• Pick up and remove used towels and debris from the pool deck areas throughout the day.
• Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the pool for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness & recreation services, activities, amenities and hotel services/features.
• Up-sell and promote wellness & recreation offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.
• Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set the pool according to standards and procedures.
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
