We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the restaurant’s premium standards of hospitality.

The Role:

The Receptionist plays a vital role in creating exceptional first impressions by welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Working closely with the management and service teams, you will help maintain smooth front-of-house operations while delivering personalised and attentive guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables while maintaining seating plans and table rotation.
• Respond promptly to telephone calls, emails, and reservation enquiries.
• Handle guest requests and special occasions with attention to detail.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally or escalates to management when appropriate.

Front-of-House Operations

• Maintain accurate reservation records using the restaurant’s booking system.
• Coordinate closely with managers and service teams regarding table availability and guest flow.
• Monitor dining room occupancy and optimise seating arrangements.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
• Support opening and closing reception procedures.

Communication & Administration

• Provide accurate information regarding menus, promotions, operating hours, and special events.
• Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special bookings.
• Record guest preferences to help personalise future visits.
• Support administrative tasks as required by the management team.

Teamwork

• Collaborate effectively with restaurant managers, servers, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
• Promote a positive and professional working environment.
• Represent the restaurant’s values and service philosophy at every guest interaction.

Candidate Profile:

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Receptionist, Host/Hostess, or Front Desk professional within restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance with a friendly and confident personality.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

• Experience within upscale restaurants, fine dining, luxury hotels, or internationally recognised hospitality brands.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar systems.
• Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
