Job summary

FarmaMondo seeks a Medical Advisor for Saudi Arabia based in Riyadh to drive medical affairs and scientific engagement across the Kingdom, with a strong focus on rare diseases. The role reports to the MD & GM MENA with dotted line to Market Manager KSA and involves travel across the country to engage healthcare professionals, hospital networks, and patient organisations.

The position requires 3+ years in Medical Affairs (MSL/Medical Advisor), deep knowledge of rare diseases, SFDA guidelines, and

Qualifications

• Pharmacist (BPharm/PharmD) or Medical Doctor (MD) with strong life sciences background.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Medical Affairs or as MSL/Medical Advisor.
• Solid experience in rare diseases, neurology or haematology.
• Knowledge of Saudi regulations and pricing / funding pathways.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is required.
• Ability to respond to medical information requests compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Build scientific relationships with local rare disease healthcare community.
• Deliver evidence-based, compliant scientific information to stakeholders.
• Lead discussions to support hospital formulary inclusion and treatment algorithms.
• Organise Advisory Boards, Expert Meetings and Medical Information sessions.
• Maintain relationships with rare disease scientific societies and patient groups.
