Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires advanced scientific degree and 7+ years in pharma/biotech with 3+ years as MSL in rare diseases.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer accounts and region.
• Experience with orphan or rare disease therapies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend national/regional medical meetings as a PTC representative; summarize findings and cultivate professional relationships.
• Deliver balanced clinical and scientific presentations to HCPs, payors, patient organizations upon requests for information.
• Identify and train speakers for advisory boards and educational programs with approved materials.
• Organize regional medical initiatives and advisory boards as needed.
• Provide input to management on therapies, business development risks, and client feedback.
• Maintain relations with health authorities, KOLs, HCPs, payors and patient organizations.
