Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is seeking a skilled Railway Surveyor in Medina to conduct topographic and boundary surveys essential for planning and constructing railway infrastructure.

You will use total stations, GPS, and laser scanners to map land features, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports for engineers and construction teams. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of land surveying laws are required to ensure accurate alignment and successful land acquisition efforts.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in surveying software and equipment.
• Strong understanding of railway construction principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in survey data collection.
• Knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic railway project environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and other surveys to support railway project planning and construction.
• Use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners for accurate measurement and mapping.
• Analyze survey data, prepare reports, and create precise maps for railway infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure correct location and alignment of tracks, stations, and structures.
• Verify land ownership boundaries to facilitate land acquisition and right-of-way negotiations.
• Implement safety procedures during surveying activities to protect personnel and equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
