Job summary

Asmacs in Saudi Arabia is seeking a senior maintenance professional to oversee railway structures within a district, directing routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency works to ensure safety and asset integrity.

The ideal candidate will hold a civil or mechanical engineering degree with 10+ years in railway maintenance, plus proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and coordination of field operations. PMP or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years in railway and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams and coordinating field operations.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of railway structures within the assigned district.
  • Supervise inspections of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, drainage systems, and related assets.
  • Prioritise defects and ensure rectification within contractual response times.
  • Monitor asset condition and maintenance performance to safeguard safety and integrity.
  • Coordinate specialist inspections, repairs, and district maintenance programmes.
  • Allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors for efficient execution.
  • Ensure works comply with technical specs, standards and approved procedures.
  • Maintain inspection records, maintenance history and asset condition reports.
  • Recommend improvement and rehabilitation work based on findings.
