Job Title: Radiology Technician/Technologist – Building 20

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Works as a member of a team to provide safe patient care. Contributes to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators including patient satisfaction and service efficiency.
  • Measures and records basic, routine, clinical measurements as required and as per policy and informs a senior member of staff of any abnormal readings.
  • Reports any adverse patient events in a timely manner to a more senior member of staff, supervisor or head of the unit/department as required. Actively welcomes patients, families, and new staff to the unit/department and communicates effectively and appropriately with them as well as the members of the healthcare team. Documents, stores, or retrieves all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner as required. Distributes documents as required.
  • Utilizes the Hospital Information System (HIS) or other related computer or imaging systems for entering examination or procedure details.
  • Cleans, disinfects, and stores clinical equipment and accessories and reports any equipment malfunction as required or as per policy. Assists in maintaining rooms stocked with necessary supplies. Assists with receiving, unpacking and storage of supplies as required.
  • Complies with the section policies, procedures and protocols. Follows the section quality improvement program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, SFDA and other accreditation agencies standards.
  • Complies with Radiation safety rules and regulation of the Hospital in accordance with KACST and K.A.CARE and other national or international regulatory bodies.
  • Applies ALARA principle role within the section practice for all procedures.
  • Assists non-Arabic staff with Arabic translation as required. Demonstrates a steady improvement in English language skills as required.
  • Follows all Hospital’s related policies and procedures.
  • Participates in self’s, patients’, and other’s education, training, and development, as applicable.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Education: Associate Degree/Diploma, Bachelor’s in Radiography, or other related discipline is required.

Experience: Two years of Experience is preferred.

Other Requirements/Certifications: Current Registration from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
