Job summary

RTX's aerospace and defense division seeks an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to work onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, supporting Air Defense Systems. The role emphasizes engineering studies, development research, and problem solving for electrical and electronic subsystems.

The candidate will prepare drawings, specify part requirements, and provide engineering guidance to repair workshops, with English proficiency and experience in LabVIEW or CAD tools preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
• Prefer Saudi Council of Engineers accreditation.
• Electronics, Electrical and Communications courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering studies and development research for Air Defense Systems.
• Resolve technical problems in weaponry/test consoles related to electrical/electronic systems; develop/modify test console software.
• Study modifications or development of subsystems of Air Defense Systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings and specify part requirements for procurement or local manufacture.
• Provide engineering recommendations on technical problems in electronic, electrical and communications systems.
• Prepare technical bulletins to prevent/correct errors and improve performance.
• Support workshops with necessary technical consultations.
• Evaluate proposed developments and innovations from Air Defense Units.
• Perform additional related work in the same field.
