Job summary

JASARA Program Management Company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide expert support and oversight in quantity surveying practices. The role includes ensuring compliance with established standards and providing guidance to in-house teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying within engineering and construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Centre of Excellence providing expert support to project delivery teams in all aspects of quantity surveying.
• Ensure adherence to established standards and alignment with international industry best practices.
• Serve as the key escalation point for complex technical quantity surveying issues.
• Provide functional oversight and guidance to in-house Quantity Surveyors.
• Review and approve cost submissions from Project Management Consultants.
• Assess and approve costing for value engineering proposals.
• Provide technical approval on contract variations related to measurement and cost.
• Approve interim payment certificates ensuring compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Act as the Centre of Excellence providing expert support to project delivery teams in all aspects of quantity surveying including measurement and pricing
• Ensure that quantity surveying services adhere to established standards and align with international industry best practices
• Serve as the key escalation point for complex technical quantity surveying issues
• Provide functional oversight and guidance to in-house Quantity Surveyors particularly those specializing in Furniture and Equipment (F amp E)
• Review and approve cost submissions from Project Management Consultants (PMC) and outsourced consultants
• Assess and approve costing for value engineering proposals to optimize project costs
• Provide technical approval on contract variations related to measurement and cost in coordination with Administration amp Procurement amp P teams (A amp P)
• Approve interim payment certificates ensuring compliance and coordination with A amp P
