Job summary

ASMO is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure materials, products, and processes meet quality standards within the chemical disposal and logistics hubs. The role involves inspections, testing, and thorough documentation to support quality assurance efforts.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in quality management or quality engineering, possess English proficiency, and bring around 7 years of relevant experience. Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality management, quality engineering or equivalent from a recognized university (preferred).
• Quality-related certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
• 7 years' experience in similar or related field.

Description

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform tests and measurements to assess product quality, functionality, and performance.
• Document inspection results, test data, and any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with quality procedures and best practices.
• Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
• Train and educate employees on quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
• Implement all relevant Supply Chain & Logistics department's policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards.
