Job summary

Aqua Energy Solutions Co. in Medina seeks a Mechanical Inspection & Testing professional to perform full-cycle inspections including Incoming, In-Process, Online and Final, ensuring conformity to drawings and specifications.

You will interpret mechanical drawings, draft hand sketches and detailed reports, and utilize precision measuring tools to document findings. Collaboration with engineering and production supports process improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical inspection including Incoming, In-Process, Online and Final inspections.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus, reading complex mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle mechanical inspections including Incoming, In-Process, Online and Final inspections to ensure conformity to technical specifications.
• Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, engineering specifications and technical documents.
• Create hand sketches and detailed reports documenting inspection findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, height gauges, bore gauges).
• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for complex dimensional analysis (preferred).
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Develop, write and edit Quality Procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality forms; lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001, API, client audits).
• Provide QA support using CAD/CAM software to review designs and fixtures.

Mechanical Inspection amp Testing

Develop write and edit Quality Procedures Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and Work Instructions Design format and control Quality Forms and inspection checklists Lead and facilitate internal and external quality audits e g ISO 9001 API or client-specific audits Handle audit findings root cause analysis RCA and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions CAPA

Qualifications amp Requirements

• Education Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Experience 3-5 years of proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing fabrication or energy sector environment
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical inspection Incoming Online and Final
• Technical Skills Drawing Interpretation Expert ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings GD amp T knowledge is a plus
• Software Proficiency in CAD CAM software e g AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar
• Metrology Hands-on expertise with standard precision measuring tools CMM Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines is a strong plus
• Quality Systems Strong understanding of QMS principles Proven track record of writing SOPs and formatting quality documentation Experience facing internal and external auditors
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
