Job summary

Samaco in Jeddah seeks a Quality Controller responsible for final checks on all work performed on customer cars to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards.

You will carry out road tests, record faults not covered in work orders, monitor product quality, report damage, and notify the Workshop Controller of possible maintenance, repair, parts, and vehicle sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Automotive or related technical field is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automotive service or quality control preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Final check on all work carried out in customer cars to ensure efficiency and standards.
• Carry out road tests to verify efficiency and rectify defects.
• Check general condition of customer vehicles and record faults not covered in the work order.
• Observe product quality and report damage cases.
• Inform Workshop Controller of possible maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories, and vehicle sales opportunities.

This position is responsible to conduct the final check on all work carried out in all customers cars to ensure efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Ensure faultless work through continuous quality control and the employment of suitable testandnbsp; methodsandnbsp; andandnbsp; meansandnbsp; inandnbsp; accordanceandnbsp; withandnbsp; theandnbsp; instructionsandnbsp; ofandnbsp; the manufacturer.
• Carry out the necessary road tests to ensure efficiency and rectify defects.
• Check the general condition of customerandrsquo;s vehicle and record faults which were not
  covered in the work order.
• Observe product quality and report damage cases.
• Inform the Workshop Controller of possible further sales of maintenance, repairs, parts, accessories and vehicles.

Qualification

Education: Diploma in Automotive or any related technical field.

Experince:

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automotive service or quality control.

Previous experience in a dealership workshop or similar automotive setting is preferred.

Skills:

Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Good communication skills in both Arabic and English

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and computer-based systems
