Job summary

Asalah Residence Company is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee submittal and handover of fit-out works, ensuring full compliance with QA/QC standards. The role monitors site activities, conducts inspections, and verifies that finishing works meet project specifications and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in fit-out, solid knowledge of QA/QC procedures, attention to detail, and leadership to drive quality processes and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Architecture or Structural Engineering required.
• QAQC certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Control within construction, towers experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee submittal and handover of fit-out works.
• Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan (QMP) per ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Lead the site quality team and enforce QC procedures across all disciplines.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and submittals.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and NCR management for civil, MEP, and finishing works.
• Coordinate quality audits with client, consultant, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and finishing standards.
• Lead snagging and handover quality aspects.
• Report KPIs, NCRs, and corrective actions to project management.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee the submittal and handover of the fit out works while ensuring full compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards. The role is responsible for monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all finishing works meet project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards.

The Quality Control Manager will manage the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), handle non-conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves close coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure high-quality execution and timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fit-out and finishing works, with solid knowledge of QA/QC procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and manage quality processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review the submittal and handover of construction specially the fit out works.
• Develop and implement the project Quality Management Plan (QMP) in line with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Lead the site quality team and ensure quality control procedures are applied across all disciplines.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and non-conformance management across civil, MEP, and finishing works.
• Coordinate quality audits with the client, consultant, and internal teams.

• Lead the snagging/de-snagging process and quality aspects of handover.
• Report quality KPIs, NCRs, and corrective actions to project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Architecture or Structural engineering.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Quality Control within the construction industry (towers experience preferred).
• Good math and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• A knowledge of the industry.
