Job summary

Rime is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge software development, AI, and operations. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, optimize development environments, and ensure smooth transitions of code and AI models from development to production.

You will validate AI-driven alerts, test backend services and APIs, and ensure real-time data flows from cameras and sensors. You will work within an Agile context, using Jira/Trello to track issues and drive timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience testing backend services and APIs.
• Experience with UI automation testing frameworks is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum and issue tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests for web apps and dashboards.
• Review AI-driven alerts for logical consistency and reduce false positives.
• Test backend services and APIs to ensure real-time data flow.
• Log defects in project management tools and track to resolution.
• Perform regression testing after updates or new features.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be the bridge between our software development, AI, and operations teams. Your primary goal is to accelerate our delivery cycles by building robust, automated CI/CD pipelines, optimizing our development environments, and ensuring that our code and heavy AI models transition smoothly from development to production. You will play a crucial role in eliminating bottlenecks, automating repetitive tasks, and empowering our engineering teams to build and ship faster without compromising on quality or security.

Responsibilities

• Create and document clear, comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements and customer needs.
• Execute manual and automated tests for web applications and interactive dashboards to ensure they are bug‐free and deliver a seamless user experience.
• Review and verify the accuracy of AI‑driven alerts (e.g., queue detection, cleanliness, uniform compliance) to ensure logical consistency and minimize false positives before they reach the client.
• Test backend services and APIs to ensure accurate, real‑time data flow from cameras and sensors.
• Identify, record, and clearly document software bugs using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), tracking them alongside the development team until full resolution.
• Perform thorough regression testing after each update or new feature release to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands‑on experience testing backend services and APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Experience or familiarity with UI automation testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium) is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in working within an Agile/Scrum development process and utilizing issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• A solid understanding of web applications, client‑server architecture, and the ability to quickly grasp complex real‑time data flows.
