Job summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead software QA activities across lending, payments, integrations, and platforms. The role focuses on QA strategy, test automation, release quality, defect management, and governance throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual and automated testing, API testing, with FinTech exposure. You will work with CI/CD, Git workflows, and performance testing, and mentor QA engineers to ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years in software QA, testing, or related role.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API, backend.
• Hands-on with test automation frameworks, API testing, performance testing, and defect management tools.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Agile, and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and release validation processes.
• Manage functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance, and automation testing.
• Ensure software quality across lending workflows, payments, integrations, and financial platforms.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and API testing practices.
• Collaborate with development, business, product, DevOps, and operations teams.
• Track defects, root causes, testing metrics, and release readiness.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates for automated deployments.
• Mentor QA engineers and enforce testing standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Support production validation, incident analysis, and post-release QA.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead software quality assurance activities and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality applications across lending, payments, integrations, and operational platforms. The role will have a particular focus on QA strategy, test automation, release quality, defect management, and quality governance throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in software quality assurance, manual and automated testing, API testing, with exposure to FinTech, lending, payments, or transaction-intensive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end QA activities across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and release validation processes.
• Manage functional, integration, regression, user acceptance (UAT), performance, and automation testing.
• Ensure software quality across lending workflows, payment systems, integrations, operational portals, and financial platforms.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and API testing practices.
• Collaborate with development, business, product, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Track defects, root causes, testing metrics, and release readiness.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates for automated deployments.
• Mentor QA engineers and enforce testing standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Support production validation, incident analysis, and post-release quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, performance testing, and defect management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and Git workflows.
• Experience in FinTech, lending, payments, or transaction-intensive systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of API testing, SQL-based data validation, automation frameworks, and performance testing.
• Experience testing integrations, microservices-based platforms, and financial systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
