Job summary

Xebia is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to own end-to-end testing for banking applications across mobile and service layers, from test planning to automation development.

We require 5+ years' experience in software testing, with hands-on Jira, Zephyr Scale, Xray, and TestRail expertise, plus Java automation and API testing using Postman. Strong English communication is essential in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Ability to own end-to-end testing for banking apps across mobile and service layers.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools (Zephyr Scale, Xray, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience building automation frameworks in Java.
• Working knowledge of Postman for service testing and collection management.
• Proven Appium mobile automation background.
• REST/JSON, HTTP, and token-based authentication understanding.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API automation suites.

About the Role: We are looking for a QA Engineer who can own the end-to-end testing process for banking applications across mobile and service layers, from test planning and manual execution through automation development.

Responsibilities

Test Analysis& Manual QA

• Analyze business requirements and clarify acceptance criteria
• Prepare test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT test cycles
• Log defects in Jira,prioritize them, andmanage the defect lifecycle through to closure
• Maintain traceable test cases in a test management tool (Zephyr Scale.) and report execution results
• Run tests across multiple devices and OS versions on real-device platforms on cloud device farms.
• Participate actively in the Agile process (refinement, planning, retrospectives) and work closely with the development team

Test Automation

• Develop and maintain API automation suites.
• Build service tests with Postman/Newman and migrate collections into the automation framework
• Integrate regression and smoke suitesinto the CI/CD pipeline

Requirements
