Job summary

Xebia is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to own end-to-end testing for banking applications across mobile and service layers, from test planning to automation development.

We require 5+ years' experience in software testing, with hands-on Jira, Zephyr Scale, Xray, and TestRail expertise, plus Java automation and API testing using Postman. Strong English communication is essential in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Ability to own end-to-end testing for banking apps across mobile and service layers.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools (Zephyr Scale, Xray, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience building automation frameworks in Java.
• Working knowledge of Postman for service testing and collection management.
• Proven Appium mobile automation background.
• REST/JSON, HTTP, and token-based authentication understanding.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
• Prepare test plans, strategies, and detailed test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT test cycles.
• Log defects in Jira, prioritize them, and manage lifecycle to closure.
• Maintain traceable test cases in Zephyr Scale and report results.
• Run tests across devices and OS versions on cloud device farms.
• Collaborate closely with the development team in Agile processes.
• Develop and maintain API automation suites.
• Build service tests with Postman/Newman and migrate collections.
• Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
