Job summary

Applus+ is seeking a QC Coating Inspector to oversee surface preparation and coating application activities, ensuring compliance with project specs, international standards, and client requirements within oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline projects.

The role focuses on inspecting blasting/cleaning, environmental condition checks, coating process monitoring, and performing DFT, holiday, and adhesion tests, while maintaining QA/QC documentation and reporting non-conformities.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant inspection experience.
• Or Industrial/Technical Diploma with 8–10 years of relevant inspection experience in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical / pipeline projects.
• Valid certification: CSWIP-BGAS Level 2 / NACE Level 2 / Equivalent
• Qualified as per SAEP-316 requirements
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of critical coating applications
• Valid driving license (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Inspect surface preparation activities including blasting and cleaning
