Job description
Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for UT/RT/MT/PT and Hardness Test and Radiography Film interpretation throughout the project.
  2. Review and checking of welding procedures.
  3. Conduct the procedure qualification test as per WPS.
  4. Organize and conduct the welder’s qualification test as per ASME Section IX and client specification. Check only approved electrodes, wires and gas are used.
  5. Control welding consumables and documents.
  6. Visual inspection of pipe fit up and weld joints.
  7. Monitor the performance of the welder’s on the basis of radiographic inspection and promoting corrective action when necessary.
  8. After completion of spool fabrication, checking the final dimension, material traceability, orientation and cleanliness.
  9. NDE inspection and pressure tests are carried out and documented in accordance with the approved procedures and QC plan for site activities.
  10. Collect inspection records and maintain and update the inspection and test status.
  11. Preparation of Quality Procedure ITP, WPS etc., Material Identification, verification of material test reports, visual inspection of weld joints, maintaining records of inspection, arrangements NDT as per the project requirements.
  12. Preparation of test package and final documentation.
Job Specification

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
With 6 years relevant experience in related discipline.
