The role requires 3–5 years in food manufacturing procurement, an established supplier network in Saudi Arabia, and proficiency with ERP and MS Excel to track procurement and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in food manufacturing, beverage, or processing in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated network of reputable Saudi suppliers for food-grade materials and packaging.
• Strong negotiation history with cost savings and favorable terms.
• Familiarity with common food industry ingredients and packaging formats.
• Proficient with ERP and Excel for procurement tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships for raw materials, flavors, and packaging.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, limits, and delivery conditions to optimize costs.
• Prepare price comparisons and evaluations for managerial review before PO authorization.
• Issue POs and track lead times to ensure on-time delivery and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with QA and Warehouse to ensure materials meet food safety specs.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier database to ensure supply chain resilience.

Role Overview

Karma Sugar Company for Food Industries is seeking an experienced Purchasing Representative with a specialized background in the food and beverage manufacturing sector The successful candidate will take responsibility for sourcing price negotiation supplier onboarding and purchase order management for critical food ingredients flavors packaging and factory supply requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing Vendor Management Identify evaluate and establish strong commercial relationships with local and international suppliers of raw materials food additives flavors concentrates powders and packaging materials
• Commercial Negotiations Negotiate competitive prices payment terms credit terms credit limits and delivery conditions to optimize procurement costs
• Quotation Comparison Analysis Prepare structured and transparent price comparison sheets and technical evaluations for managerial review before purchase order authorization
• Order Execution Lead Time Tracking Issue official Purchase Orders POs and follow up regularly to guarantee on-time delivery minimizing factory downtime
• Quality Regulatory Alignment Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Warehouse teams to ensure delivered raw materials strictly meet food safety standards and specifications
• Market Research Maintain an up-to‑date database of reliable F B suppliers within Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia to establish supply chain resilience

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven procurement or purchasing experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, or food processing industries in Saudi Arabia.
• Industry Network: Demonstrated existing network of reputable suppliers for food‑grade raw materials, food ingredients, and packaging materials in Saudi Arabia.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capability with a track record of cost savings and favourable vendor terms.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with standard food industry raw materials (flavors, stabilisers, sweeteners, powders) and commercial packaging formats.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Software & Systems: Proficiency in ERP software and MS Excel for procurement tracking and data reporting.
