Role Purpose

The Procurement Officer at Al Bawani Construction Company is responsible for supporting the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services needed for construction projects. This entry-level position focuses on supplier sourcing, purchase order management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Key Activities

Assist in identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.

  • Maintain updated supplier lists and contact information.
  • Participate in supplier assessments to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Gather and analyze supplier performance data.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to clarify procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders and supplier communications.
