Overview

Purpose of Position

Ensure that projects, whether in construction, manufacturing, or technology, are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Major Responsibilities
  • Prepare RDx Reports for IDI.
  • Follow-up with client to get the missing documents.
  • Review of the Structural Drawings and Buildings Envelope (concrete and steel structure); and prepare the related Design Review Reports.
  • Review the documents submitted during Construction (materials, test reports, etc…);
  • Perform Site Inspections; and prepare the related SI Reports.
  • Review and correct site inspection reports as required.
  • Management of one or more Engineer/Inspector of a lower level as requested by N+1.
  • Mentoring/Training of one or more Engineer/Inspector of a lower level as requested by N+1.
  • Perform any Task assigned by N+1 within his competency limits.

  • Observe the HSSE policies and procedures at all times
  • Comply with the ethical policies and code of ethics
Qualification And Experience
  • Graduate Engineer min 5 years of experience in Construction projects and experience in structural design or design review.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural design review or in technical control missions for concrete or steel structures
