Position Objective
Ensure effective planning, monitoring, and control of all ISP project activities to achieve delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain accurate project schedules, cost controls, and performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.
- Strengthen coordination between engineering, design, access/permitting, implementation, and contractor/vendor teams to enable seamless project execution.
- Enhance project visibility through structured reporting, dashboards, and data‑driven insights for management and stakeholders.
- Improve operational efficiency by standardizing processes, automating reporting, and ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Proactively identify risks, variances, and performance gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing trends, productivity, and project KPIs across ISP domain.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and control ISP project schedules (covering planning, design, excavation, ducting, cable laying, splicing, equipment installation, rack setup, patching, testing, and final handover).
- Track daily and weekly progress against the approved baseline, identify schedule variances, and recommend mitigation or recovery plans for both ISP activities.
- Monitor and control all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Track scope changes including route modifications, quantity variations, BOQ updates, equipment changes, and manage the full change control process.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, BOQs, CAPEX/OPEX plans, and cost control reports for ISP works.
- Conduct cost variance analysis, budget trend reviews, earned value analysis (EVA), and cash flow forecasting.
- Validate quantities prior to invoicing and ensure data accuracy across reporting systems.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, survey, permitting, and implementation teams to ensure readiness before execution of both field and facility‑based activities.
- Monitor vendor productivity, resource allocation, and performance across ISP to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Track material delivery status (including fiber cables, ducts, chambers, ODFs, racks, patch panels, active equipment, and power components) to prevent execution delays.
- Ensure alignment between field progress, ISP installation progress, and system updates (ERP/client portals) with strong data integrity controls.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and KPI‑aligned progress and financial reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel‑based visual reports for management review.
- Support automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Identify and report risks, gaps, and discrepancies in OSP and ISP execution, and support preventive and corrective actions.
- Generate executive‑level summaries, presentations, and insights for management decision‑making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, visualization, and performance monitoring.
- Monitor key KPIs such as team productivity, installation vs target, testing and acceptance rates, equipment installation progress, and rejection ratios.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project control, cost management, or reporting roles within the Telecom ISP domain.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and cost control methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI, advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling), and other data visualization/reporting tools.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting automation, and project performance tracking.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and database systems used for progress monitoring and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey complex project data clearly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and timelines.
- Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and knowledge‑sharing capabilities within multi‑disciplinary project environments.
