Job Summary:
Master Works is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee a wide range of programs. You will be responsible for the successful delivery and overall performance of each program, supervising managers and updating management on progress and performance.
A successful Program Director must possess broad knowledge of program management principles, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and develop team members.
The goal is to ensure each program is delivered successfully, adding maximum value to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and set goals aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Plan programs from inception to completion, including deadlines, milestones, and processes.
- Develop or approve budgets and operational plans.
- Design evaluation strategies to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise all program and project managers, providing feedback and resolving complex issues.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and personnel.
- Apply change, risk, and resource management principles as needed.
- Review reports prepared by managers to assess progress and resolve issues.
- Ensure program operations comply with legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Keep senior management informed through detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Program Director or similar managerial role in the IT services field for over 5 years.
- Thorough understanding of project and program management techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
- Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Working knowledge of Jira, MS Office, and program management software (e.g., Basecamp, MS Project).
- Business acumen with strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Certified PMP/PGMP or equivalent certification.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MSc/MA is a plus.
- Local nationality and fluency in English.
