Job summary

CareerFirst Company is seeking a strategic Product Owner Lead to manage its digital platform offerings. You will lead the product roadmap, translate complex business requirements into high-value backlogs, prioritize user stories, and drive alignment between stakeholders and technical teams to deliver platform features.

The role requires 7+ years in digital product management, strong leadership, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum, JIRA and Confluence. CSPO or PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years in Digital Product Management or related field with leadership experience of technical platforms.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
• Strong ability to write BRD/FRS and clear user stories.

Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and execute the product vision, roadmap, and release plans aligned with business growth goals.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, turning needs into detailed technical scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee feature classification, prioritization, and backlog grooming to maximize ROI and usability.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the Product Management/Analysis team in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery.
• Set operational KPIs for product performance and maintain quality, delivery timelines, and user satisfaction.
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders, UI/UX, software engineers, and QA teams.
• Monitor metrics, user feedback, and market trends to propose system enhancements and mitigations.
• Govern handling of new feature requests and scope changes with clear governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, manage, and execute the product vision, roadmap, and release plans aligned with business growth goals.
• Lead business requirements gathering sessions, turning operational needs into detailed technical scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee product feature classification, prioritization, and backlog grooming to maximize ROI and platform usability.
• Team Leadership & Operational Supervision:
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the Product Management/Analysis team in daily sprint planning, backlog refinement, and feature delivery.
• Set operational KPIs for product performance and maintain high standards of quality, feature delivery timelines, and user satisfaction.
• Facilitate alignment across business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, software engineers, and QA teams.
• Platform Optimization & Requirements Governance:
• Monitor platform metrics, user feedback, and market trends to continuously propose system enhancements and mitigations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and establish clear governance for handling new feature requests and scope changes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Digital Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Systems Analysis, with proven experience leading technical platforms or managing product teams.
• Professional Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMP, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
• Technical & Leadership Skills:
• Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and product prototyping tools.
• Strong ability to build business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement specifications (FRS), and clear user stories.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic decision‑making skills.
