Job summary

Work standard in Medina is hiring a Product Designer to join the team. You will design and develop innovative products that meet customer needs, reflecting our brand aesthetic and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

You will work with product managers, engineers and suppliers to move concepts from sketches to production, creating prototypes, 3D models and detailed CAD drawings. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field and at least 2 years of product design experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into design concepts
Conduct market research and gather feedback from users to inform design decisions
Create sketches, prototypes and 3D models to visualize designs
Use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings for production
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for each product
Work with suppliers to source materials and components for prototypes and final products
Test prototypes for functionality, durability and safety
Make necessary revisions based on feedback from testing and user feedback
Communicate with manufacturers throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies related to product design
