Job summary

Wise Insight in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support the procurement supervisor, coordinate RFQs, and manage supplier relationships to secure best offers. The role involves preparing the MRP, collecting essential documents, and maintaining up-to-date procurement records.

Candidates should have 8–12 years of experience, including 4 years in specialty fields and 2 years at supervisory level, with a BS in supply chain management.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience including 4 years in specialty fields and 2 years at supervisory level.
• Effective inter-personal, complex problem-solving, critical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Arabic and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Assist procurement supervisor and prepare/send RFQs to suppliers.
• Follow up for early and best quotations from identified suppliers.
• Prepare the MRP and ensure all 9 steps are followed.
• Collect necessary documents from all ends and coordinate with suppliers for manuals, catalogues, samples.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best offers and prepare price comparisons and POs.
• Maintain procurement records and keep them updated; follow delivery and payments.
• Ensure procurement policy and procedures are implemented; prepare required reports.
• Evaluate suppliers & subcontractors and keep supplier data updated.

Key Responsibilities:

• -Responsible to assist procurement Supervisor.
• - Prepare and send the RFQ to all identified suppliers.
• - Follow with the suppliers for early and best quotations.
• -Prepare the MRP and make sure all 09steps taking into consideration.
• - Ensure all necessary documents are collected from all ends.
• -Follow with the suppliers for product manual, catalogue, samples etc.
• -Negotiate with suppliers for best offers.
• -Prepare the price comparison sheet and purchase order.
• -Maintaining all procurement records and assure it remains updated all time.
• -Follow up the delivery and payment.
• -Shall ensure the effective implementation of procurement policy and procedures.
• -Prepare all required reports.
• -Suppliers & subcontractors evaluation.
• -Shall ensure supplier data base updated time to time.

Requirements:

• -BS Degree (preferable in Supply Chain Management)
• -(8-12) Yrs of Experience including 04 years in specialty fields and 02 years at supervisory level.
• - Effective inter-personal, complex problem-solving, critical and analytical skills
• - Excellent communication skills
• -Arabic and English fluency
