Over 65% of Gen Z shoppers now begin their journey with AI assistants, social media, or conversational interfaces rather than traditional retail websites. Agentic AI recommendations are redefining how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase. Amazon’s current discovery model must evolve toward conversational, context-aware, and autonomous experiences. The Principal, Agentic AI Shopping will lead Amazon’s internal capability to understand, audit, and innovate within this agentic commerce paradigm, ensuring Amazon remains the world leader in shopping innovation.
