Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–7 years of experience in maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and planning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all slaughterhouse machinery and equipment.
• Ensure timely maintenance of poultry processing, slaughtering, chilling, freezing, and packaging equipment.
• Supervise maintenance of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, compressor, and utility systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures before they cause production interruptions.
• Lead the maintenance team, assign daily jobs, and monitor work quality and completion.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, equipment history, breakdown records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Engineering, and other departments to minimize downtime.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety, workplace safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and monitor the maintenance budget, including spare parts, repair costs, service contracts, and equipment replacement.
