STATS Group is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Shop Welder in Saudi Arabia to fabricate and weld pressure vessel components in line with ASME/API 1104 standards. You will read drawings, prepare joints, and perform welds in shop and field environments.

The role requires experience with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW, attention to quality, and strict safety discipline under live plant conditions.

You will maintain weld logs, work with QC, and support continuous improvement and lean practices.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years welding ASME pressure vessels.
• Valid ASME Sec IX / API 1104 Welder Qualifications.
• High School/Technical certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Familiar with ASME codes and standards (Section VIII Div 1, ASME B 31.4, ASME B 31.8, B 31.3).

Mansioni

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and ASME/API 1104 welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Perform welding tasks on pressure vessel components/Pipeline using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW or SAW in accordance with ASME/API standards.
• Assemble and fit-up components using fixtures, jigs, and clamps.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and conformity to specifications using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
• Maintain qualifications per ASME requirements.
• Ensure proper joint preparation and cleanliness prior to welding.
• Collaborate with QC personnel and inspectors to ensure compliance with ASME/API code and internal quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of weld logs, heat numbers, and material traceability.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in both shop and field environments.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including PPE use and safe operation of welding and fabrication equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
