Qualifications

• Proven experience as a spray painter or blaster in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of painting and blasting techniques for pressure vessels.
• Familiarity with safety standards for handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and coatings specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of pressure vessels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and rust removal.
• Apply protective coatings and finishes to meet quality standards.
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment in good working order.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specs and quality requirements.
• Follow safety protocols while handling paints and blasting materials.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow in painting and blasting areas.
• Document work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
