Job summary

Elia Grid International (EGI) is seeking a senior Power System Planning expert to lead master planning, pre-feasibility of new transmission investments, and RES/BESS integration. You will leverage PowerFactory and PSSE to deliver actionable insights and support the company’s global energy transition projects.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years of experience, with fluency in English and knowledge of Arabic considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Power System Planning.
• Ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Define planning principles for power systems.
• Define and validate Power System Models.
• Analyse RES & BESS integration and transmission investments.
• Interact with international clients and present results.
