Job summary

Elia Grid International (EGI) is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to contribute to planning, modelling, and analysis across global energy projects from our Riyadh office. The role involves defining planning principles and ensuring robust model validation for grids with high RES and BESS integration.

We value experience with PowerFactory and PSSE, strong presentation skills, and fluency in English. Arabic language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of Power System Planning experience.
• Experience with PowerFactory and PSSE.

Responsibilities

• Define planning principles for power systems.
• Model and validate power system models.
• Plan renewables integration and BESS sizing.
• Analyze steady-state and dynamic stability.
• Assess grid reliability and security.
• Prepare reports with analysis results.
• Support business development with client proposals.
