Job summary

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Field Operator (Polymer) for the Polypropylene Section to safely operate plant facilities in accordance with procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include starting up and shutting down plants, handling emergencies, conducting inspections, and maintaining logs, while collaborating with the Shift Supervisor and other teams. This role requires experience in field operations within a refinery or petrochemical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Diploma required.
• 5+ years in field operations for petrochemical plants or refineries.
• Basic instrument and ESD understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and shutdown of assigned plants per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies with field actions and communicate with supervisor.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities.
• Identify malfunctions and report to supervisor.
• Maintain logs of instrument readings and measurements.
• Issue work permits according to authorization levels.
• Provide guidance to other operators and share best practices.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
