Job summary

Schema is seeking a Production Engineer in Operations to optimize process capability, efficiency, yield and quality within EHS guidelines. You will monitor key plant parameters, manage chemicals and BOMs, and support plant commissioning, turnarounds and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant polyethylene production experience. You will interact with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with budgets and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years' experience as Production Engineer in Polyethylene operations.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and process expertise to meet targets and improve efficiency, yield and quality within budget.
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities with licensing and technical teams.
Manage chemicals, catalysts and additives planning, BOMs, and inventory to support operations.
Support plant commissioning, turnaround activities and troubleshooting.
Contribute to SOP improvements and MOC changes in the unit.
Prepare operating and capex budgets and liaise with project engineering and operations.
Monitor monthly cost and cost allocation in line with budgets.
Coordinate with planning for shutdown/startup activities.
