Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is seeking a Production Engineer in Operations - Polyethylene in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on providing technical support to optimize process capability, efficiency, yield, and quality while ensuring adherence to EHS policies within budgeted constraints.

You will identify bottlenecks, manage inventories, support plant commissioning and turnaround activities, and lead MOC implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Production Engineer in Operations - Polyethylene.
Strong understanding of process control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to optimize process capability, efficiency, yield and quality.
Identify debottlenecks and profit opportunities with licensing and technical support.
Manage chemical, catalyst, and additives inventories and BOMs.
Support plant commissioning and turnaround activities.
Lead MOC changes and supervise related disciplines.
Prepare operating and capital budgets and track expenditures.
Monitor costs monthly and ensure budget adherence.
Collaborate with planning for shutdown/startup activities.
Respond to customer requirements and complaints with root-cause analysis.
