Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Plant NVH Engineer to support End-of-Line vehicle NVH quality validation and launch readiness. The role involves data-driven analysis, diagnostic testing, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve NVH issues and improve manufacturing processes.

You will work with instrumentation like SCADAS and Squadriga, perform both objective and subjective evaluations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of automotive engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality, or NVH-related activities.
• Experience collecting and analyzing engineering test data.
• Familiarity with microphones, accelerometers, vibration measurement systems, or similar test equipment.
• Ability to conduct objective and subjective vehicle evaluations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze plant NVH quality metrics and production trends.
• Assist in maintaining and improving End-of-Line NVH screening processes.
• Assist with root cause investigations for NVH concerns.
• Support NVH readiness during vehicle launches and ramp-up.
• Perform objective and subjective vehicle evaluations using measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings.
