Job summary

Acwa Power is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Technician to perform maintenance, installation, overhauls and modifications on plant instrumentation and control systems. The role ensures reliable operation following standard procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards.

You will carry out routine preventive work, monitor systems, and respond to failures with corrective actions in collaboration with the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of plant equipment and systems.
• Understanding of maintenance principles including waste disposal and emission monitoring.
• Awareness of HSE and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventative instrumentation and control maintenance according to schedule and NOMAC procedures.
• Monitor condition of systems and report non-conformances to Instrumentation and Control Supervisor.
• Respond to instrumentation and control failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot using tools and spare parts, diagnose, dismantle, repair, reassemble and calibrate instruments.
